Corporate Sabotage is a game that me and my group created and designed for our capstone at Arizona State University. I was responsible for the key concept, game play design, game pieces, and visual design of the game. In this game you collect works to invest in the most sectors while slowing everyone else down.

During the second semester of the capstone we completely scrapped our current game that felt really linear and lacked depth. We took a giant white board and threw everything that sticked to it. At the very end of the brainstorm we created a strategy sabotage board game built around the themes of the brutal lifestyle/workplace of the corporate world.
This version was an accumulation of everything that my group came up with, made into reality for play test. One of the key concepts we had to realize was that just putting the cards or board into real space to play with even if it was a rough design was crucial to accelerating our progress.
After plenty of play testing we realized there was some clunky game play and needed to adjust how to interact and play with other people, how to limit resource holding, and make the game more enjoyable. We started cementing some of the sector abilities that would help you through the game. Our game prototype was also chosen to be at the Herberger Institute Day representing our degree program.
